Panda Bread!

I think we’ve all gone a lil panda crazy these days. Everywhere we turn we see panda cupcakes, panda cakes, panda cookies, and the most original and cutest creation has been this panda bread. Looks difficult to make, but the instructions are thorough and I think with a little practice very doable and VERY FUN! ENJOY! :)

Ingredients:

• 3 cups Gold Medal unbleached all-purpose flour
• 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
• 1 cup milk w/ 1 egg yolk (both should total 1 cup together)
• 3/4 tbsp salt
• 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
• 1 tbsp green tea (matcha) powder mixed w/ 2 tsp hot water, OR green food coloring
• 3 1/2 tsp cocoa powder mixed w/ 1 1/2 tsp hot water
• 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

help im a month into college. alot has went on between here and home. BUT im still on track. its getting harder and assignments jammed pack. good thing i have thursday night friday saturday sunday and monday off :)

so. basically i spent a year of my life in limbo. its kinda refreshing and liberating to get a fresh start and after today, i am so glad that i took the plunge and did something for me. as much as i miss my home, dogs, uncle, boyfriend, and family, i am an hour away. and i have called everyday to check up and already went home, and am going home again on Wednesday

imma have to study my BUTT off but its gonna be worth it. i almost have school alllllll paid for, and a good possibility of a job at the hospital lined up that pays AMAZINGLY YAY! and my roommate is in nursing and we made two friends that are our across the hall mates and are sweethearts, and they are nursing majors as well… :) yeah we got this lol

all and all.. i think everyone should follow their gut, instincts, and hearts. GO FOR IT. take a risk for something you*d love.

if this is the road lifes taking me… IM THRILLED. ill be done in four semesters hopefully maybe five. so life will be better. :)
